While PartyPoker continues its ascent to the top of the US online poker industry in New Jersey, the worldwide #1 online poker room, PokerStars, is offering up $27 million throughout the month of December in a fantastic new promotion the site is calling the December Festival.
We’ll take a look at PartyPoker’s triumphant return to the US market, PokerStars December to remember promotion, the latest no deposit bankroll offers, and a whole lot more in this week’s look around the online poker industry.
It took all of one week for PartyPoker to reclaim the top spot in the US online poker market…well, the licensed US online poker market anyway.
Just one week after launching their NJ.PartyPoker.com and BorgataPoker.com online poker rooms, bwin.party is the most heavily trafficked licensed site in the US, according to pokerscout.com’s online traffic data, with over 400 players at peak hours.
Sure, it’s a far cry from the traffic numbers PartyPoker boasted when it left the US back in 2006, but their early success in New Jersey has the company and the poker community hopeful that not only PartyPoker, but the entire US online poker industry, is in for a resurgence.
You can check out the latest traffic numbers from the US and globally at www.pokerscout.com.
And sign up now to take advantage of the site’s $50 no deposit bwin bankroll offer, which is open to all international players at bwin poker.
This offer is not available to US residents.
This December PokerStars is giving their customers $27 million reasons to smile with the announcement of the site’s December Festival.
From December 1st through the 22nd, PokerStars will be awarding its players with some $27 million in guaranteed prize money and special giveaways.

Just a week after being profiled by the Scottish press, David Vamplew proved his mettle, winning Event #20 of the FTOPS XXIV tournament series currently taking place at Full Tilt Poker.
Vamplew’s victory came in the $320 No Limit Holdem reentry tournament, and required Scotland’s all-time tournament money-leader to best a field of over 2,000 players. Vamplew pocketed just over $111k for the win.
